My approach to painting is to capture the magnificence and spirit of the West. I approach each painting as an opportunity to express myself creatively in a unique way and to portray my affection for the Western landscape, whether that is a wide vista of a red rock plateau or a field of wild flowers at their peak.

I like to work with both oil and acrylic and to try different approaches, brush, palette knife, and or Squeezealism depending on the subject. I think it keeps you sharp, like cross training. I hope you enjoy my view of the west.
